Tilt Mixers

The Liddell Concrete Tilt Mixers are designed with attention to detail and rugged durability. Constructed for true full capacity batches without spillage, extreme ease of maintenance, lower operating costs than its competitors, and high output. The Liddell concrete tilt mixers will serve you for years to come. Available in multiple sizes including 10, 12, 15, and 18 yard capacities.

From the original Ross design, the Liddell tilt mixers have been upgraded and modernized while keeping the tried and true base principles the same. Direct replacement mixer drums and parts are available for the Ross, Johnson, and Johnson-Ross Mixers.

Features That Separate The Liddell Concrete Tilt Mixers

  • Main gear drives located away from the mixer discharge protecting them from contamination caused by splashing concrete
  • Hydraulic power unit includes a pressure adjusting variable displacement pump. This style pump produces much less heat than the conventional vane and gear style pumps.
  • The mixer drum is supported at the rear by a hub and spindle assembly which includes two heavy-duty roller bearings and oil seal with replaceable steel wear ring. Both the hub and spindle are hammer forged and machined from high grade steel.

  • The charge/discharge mixer mouth is the largest in the industry allowing for fast charging and discharging of material while also providing easy access when servicing the interior of the mixer.
  • Mixer mouth is equipped with an AR steel wear ring on which a rubber dust seal makes direct contact providing an excellent dust tight seal.
  • Superior mixing of materials is accomplished by heavy-duty mixer blades. Unlike double opening mixers, no secondary blades or buckets are required to keep material in the mixer. Less interior blades and buckets greatly reduces clean-out time and reduces blade replacement cost.
  • Exclusive tilt motion provides superior cleanliness of charging, mixing, dust control, and discharge operations. The mixer mouth falls away from the charge head and then returns to a positive seal, no spillage
  • 15-degree incline of the drum axis during the charging and mixing cycle permits full capacity batches without spillage.
  • Standard 60 second tilt time and 9 second return time with optional 10 second tilt time and 9 second return time
